Chester football fans were heard chanting a sick Lucy Letby taunt to rival Hereford supporters at a non-league match.
Fellow fans on social media and forums condemned the ‘Lucy Letby, she’s one of your own’ chants aired at Tuesday night’s National League North fixture at the Deva Stadium.
Letby, who was born in Hereford, was convicted last month of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill six other infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
Her crimes make her the most prolific child serial killer in modern British history after she deliberately injected babies with air, force fed others milk and poisoned two with insulin.
Letby, 33, was given multiple whole-life terms, one for each offence, and will spend the rest of her life behind bars.

Another fan responded: ‘Oh FFS, they didn’t did they? The person next to them in the stand could have lost a child to her, for all they know. More dreadful publicity for the club if that gets out.’
Another post said; ‘Chester is a small place to be fair. I know one of the families affected, chanting about it is disgusting.’
