A spectator at the New England Patriots’ game against the Miami Dolphins suffered a heart attack Sunday night, according to a report.
The fan, whose identity is not currently known, reportedly went into cardiac arrest in the stands in Gillette Stadium, according to NFL Network host Bridget Condon.
A firefighter, who happened to be a friend of Condon’s father, reportedly spotted the fan in distress and leapt into action administering life-saving CPR.
‘My parents are at the Patriots game with their friends and someone in their section just had a heart attack and my dad’s friend (also a firefighter) started giving him CPR and saved his life,’ Condon shared to X, formerly known as Twitter.
‘Forget the football. This is the best thing I’ve heard all day.’
DailyMail.com has contacted the Patriots for confirmation but has not yet received a response.
Condon later revealed that the two hero firefighters involved were Anthony Colella of Johnston RI Fire and Mark McCullough of Needham Fire.
